Noguchi Cyclone Dining Table

The Noguchi Cyclone Dining Table has come to fruition through a few not so conventional ways. Originally conceived as a rocking stool made of metal wire and wood, it later evolved into a companion piece for a children’s chair. Eventually it was enlarged to full size and reintroduced in Noguchi’s groundbreaking collection for 1957, that transformed executive seating into a fluid and sculptural form. Needless to say this Noguchi Cyclone Dining Table has an interesting past. The sculptural base consists of a column of chrome-plated steel wires set into a cast-iron. If you’re looking for more than just a table, look no further than the Noguchi Cyclone Dining Table which can be more accurately described as a beautiful sculpture. The top is available in black or white laminate.
