Solar Shoji Lanterns

solar shoji lanterns

In traditional Japanese architecture, a sh?ji is translucent washi paper stretched over a wooden frame. These wonderful shoji lanterns embody that design aesthetic. You simply hang these solar-powered lanterns from a trellis or tree and they give off a soft, warm, eco-friendly light. The yellow LED lights are encased in paper-like, weather-proof nylon and they automatically switch on in the evening as the natural sunlight fades. Beautiful.
