thatched bowls

Designer Michael Aram’s handmade metalwork thatched bowls combines Eastern delicacy with Western substance, as well as classical and contemporary design motifs, in these highly distinctive eco-friendly bowls. His thatch bowls interlace recycled metal twigs so skillfully, that they appear to form nests that float on air. I think these are wonderful pieces, and they would make great gifts this season.

bamboo flatware

These 100% organically grown bamboo flatware pieces are the natural alternative to plastic utensils. These bamboo utensils are food safe and intended for one-time use. They breakdown naturally in about four to six months. These don’t do well in a microwave or a dishwasher either, so be careful! Each set includes eight each of a knife, fork and spoon.

iamnotapapercup

1,000 disposable coffee cups equals about 60 pounds of garbage. 1,000 people saving a cup a day for one year reduces waste by more than 11 tons! So, if you are looking for a great eco-friendly Christmas gift for your coffee-loving friends, check out these cool porcelain cups! Double walled porcelain with a silicone top, the “I Am Not A Paper Cup” cup looks awesome, it’s eco-friendly and most importantly, reusable. You don’t have to change the way you sip your coffee either. It looks and functions in the same way as your standard issue coffee shop paper cup and plastic lid! A great idea for an eco-friendly stocking stuffer or gift.

buy sunburst bowl

We love these gorgeous copper-colored sunburst serving wares. Also, they are made from recycled glass! Their beautifully crafted petals fan out in such wonderful way, they remind me of oversized, glowing flowers. They’re also food-safe so they are appropriate for table service or as amazing looking centerpieces.

walter-links

Walter Links Rim Bowl appeals to lover of modern design with a full range of dinnerware and serving dishes. The beautiful enlarged Black Links design decorates the inside of this rim bowl. The designer used a theme based on a link of a bicycle chain, which we find extremely cool and original. What a marvelous set of contemporary flatware!
